A simple breakfast or brunch made with peanut butter, strawberry jam, and toast..
.
.
A Simple Breakfast for Busy Mornings.
It’s often said that spreading sweet jam on white bread for breakfast isn’t the healthiest habit.
.
.
Starting the day with fruit jam, which is high in sugar, along with bread that may not offer much nutritional value, can cause a rapid rise in blood sugar and doesn’t necessarily provide the balanced nutrition our bodies need.
.
.
But sometimes…
When there’s absolutely nothing ready for breakfast, there are mornings when my child and I just want to enjoy a slice of toast with a little jam. 😥
.
.
When that happens, I like to spread the fruit jam as thinly as possible and pair it with 100% peanut butter spread.
I believe this can be a more balanced way to enjoy a sweet and simple breakfast.
.
.
On busy mornings, or whenever you don’t have much food prepared at home, try making a quick toast with peanut butter and fruit jam.
Start your day with something simple, sweet, and delicious. 🙂
