Easy Homemade Potato Chips | Quick Beer & Wine Snack
.
.
.
During potato season in summer,
many people buy a whole box
and keep potatoes at home to enjoy over time.
.
There are three of us in my family,
including our child,
but since potatoes aren’t the easiest thing to store,
we usually buy them in small amounts each week.
.
My mom, on the other hand,
has years of experience when it comes to running a household,
so she happily buys a whole box of potatoes
and makes good use of them. 🙂
.
If you love the fluffy, tender texture of potatoes,
there are so many ways to enjoy them.
You can simply boil them,
steam and mash them into a potato salad,
or use them in rice pot dishes,
stir-fries, and various side dishes.
.
But here’s the thing—
we often buy potato chips as a snack,
yet I don’t think we often consider
making them at home?!
.
Maybe it’s because
getting that perfectly crispy and salty texture
at home can be surprisingly difficult.
.
If you occasionally find yourself craving potato chips
with a beer or a glass of wine,
I’d like to share an easy way
to make them at home.
