Watermelon Punch with Korean Grain Powder

.

.

.

Late August and early September

have brought quite a lot of rain.

.

I thought the rain would

finally cool things down

and bring those refreshing autumn breezes,

but the humidity has only gone up,

so it still feels incredibly hot.

.

As September begins,

summer fruits slowly start to disappear,

while seasonal autumn ingredients

begin to fill the markets.

.

Even so,

while the summer heat is still lingering,

I hope a cool, refreshing fruit drink

can wash away the heat and tiredness

from your day.

.

Today’s recipe,

watermelon punch with Korean grain powder,

was actually made and photographed back in July,

so I’m sharing it a little later than usual…

.

But if you can still find watermelons

at your local grocery store,

I hope you’ll give this refreshing treat a try

to enjoy one last taste of summer.
